Yangon-Mandalay-Bagan-Mt.Popa-Kalaw-Pindaya-Shwenyaung-Inle-Yangon

DAY 01. YANGON ARRIVAL (BY CAR)
Upon arrival Yangon International Airport, welcome by
our tour guide and transfer to hotel. Aftrnoon
sightseeing tour includes downtown area : city centre
with the gilded Sule Pagoda, City Hall, the Old colonial
style City Center Buildings along the strand road,
China
Town. An extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the
wonders of the world, will conclude the tours of this
picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of Shwedagon
Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and its cover with
60 tons of pure gold and famous for its religious
significance, artistic beauty and its association with
Myanmar culture. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 02. YANGON SIGHTSEEING (BY CAR)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Morning sightseeing to
Kabaaye Pagoda(World Peace Pagoda), Mahapasana Cave,
Tooth Relic Pagoda a unique pagoda for its ancient and
modern architecture, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda(Reclining
Buddha Image), Nagar-Hand Made Glass Factory and Botataung Pagoda and
Nanthida Jetty to see the ways of
life in the Yangon River.

DAY 03. BAGAN-SALAY-MT.POPA-BAGAN (BY CAR)
After breakfast, directly drive to SALAY to visit the
famous monastery “Yoke Sone Kyaung” which is a cultural
heritage site in sale. It is famous with its spectacular
woodcarvings and also the native town of the famous
writer Sale U Pone Nya during the time of Myanmar Kings.
And then proceed to Mt. POPA – an extinct volcano. It is
also well known as a holly place for all the nats
(spirits) of Myanmar. Sightseeing Mount Popa where one
could see the panoramic view of the surrounding. After
lunch, will drive back to Bagan. On the way, stop at a
roadside stall to witness the local way of climbing up
the palm tree the making the jaggery. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 03. YANGON-BAGAN (BY FLIGHT/ CAR)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to the
airport for flight to BAGAN. Upon arrival in Bagan,
transfer to hotel and take a rest for a while. Full day
sightseeing is starting with the busy Local Market (Nyaung
U) and continuing with visit to a diverse selection of
the most important pagodas and temples such as Shwezigone Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early
11th Century, the prototype of later Myanmar Stupas;
Kyansittha U-Min, a tunnel with interesting paintings
and Ananda Temple; with its four huge standing – Buddha
images and numerous seated figures arrange around the
interior gallery. Htilominlo Temple, noted for its
plaster carvings and Tharabar Gate, the only remaining
gate of 9 Century A.D.
Lunch is followed by visit to a lacquer craftmen's
workshop in near by Myinkaba Village. sightseeing
continues with visits to Manuha Temple; built in Mon
style in 1059, Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone
monument that is such to have been the palace of King Manuha, and
Gu Byauk Gyi Temple; (under the protection
of UNESCO) , noted for its ancient mural paintings.
Finally, visit Shwesandaw Pagoda to observe a sunset in
the vicinity of Bagan's ancient monuments. Overnight in
Bagan.

DAY 04. BAGAN-MT.POPA-MANDALAY (BY CAR)
After breakfast, visit MT.POPA, an extinct volcano and
60-km south-east of Bagan and 1500-meters high. Well
known as the oasis of the central Myanmar dry zone and
with a shrine dedicated to animist spirits known as
"Nats". For the energetic, time to climb 777 steps to a
shrine at the top of the volcanic plug accompanied by a
crowd of monkeys. This effort will be rewarded many
times by the extraordinary panoramic view of the
surrounding landscape. Popa National Park with dense
sandal wood forest and rare species of birds and
butterflies, Local market are worth to see. Then proceed
to Mandalay, night stay at hotel in Mandalay.

DAY 05. MANDALAY-MINGUN-MANDALAY (BY CAR/ BOAT)
After breakfast, boat excursion (one hour each way) up
the AYEYARWADDY RIVER to MINGUN, site of the world's
largest intact bronze bell, 3.7 meters high and
weighting 87 tons. Also visit the huge but unfinished
Mingun Paya (built with the intention of being the
world's biggest pagoda) and the beautiful Hsinbyume
Paya, Settawya Pagoda, Myatheindan Pagoda with seven
concentric terraces at the base. Transfer to the hotel
in Mandalay. After lunch, sightseeing includes
Mahamuni Buddha Image with its spectacular buddha image covered
with thick layer of gold leaves, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung (or
Golden Palace Monastery), a superb example of a
traditional wooden building, and Kuthodaw Pagoda (known
as the world's largest book), consisting of 729 marble
slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Finally, enjoy
the sunset time at Mandalay Hill by overlooking the
panoramic view from the hill. Overnight at hotel in
Mandalay.

DAY 06. MANDALAY-AMARAPURA-SAGAING-AVA(INWA)-MANDALAY
(BY CAR)
After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic
flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay, proceed
directly to AMARAPURA for sightseeing. Visit
Mahagandayone Monastery, a famous Buddhist monastery
where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist
literature, and the 200-years-old U Bein Teak Bridge,
built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal
capital. Then, drive to SAGAING HILL over AVA Bridge
across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hill are dotted
with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and
meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns.
Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thonse Pagoda.
After that, proceed sightseeing to the former royal
capital of INWA (Ava), reached by a short boat trip.
Visits by horse-drawn carriage include Nanmyint Watch
Tower, the remains of a palace building nicknamed
"leaning tower of Ava", Mahaaungmye Bonzan Monastery
(built of bricks and stucco) and Bargayar Monastery,
famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak
posts. And then drive back to Mandalay. Overnight in
Mandalay.

DAY 07. MANDALAY-HEHO-PINDAYA-KALAW (BY FLIGHT/CAR)
Morning transfer to Mandalay Airport for domestic flight
to HEHO. Upon arrival in Heho, overland drive to
PINDAYA
(92 km, 2 hours drive) and visit the unique Pindaya
Caves, where pilgrims placed thousands of Buddha images
over the span of many centuries, Singaung Shan
Monastery. And then drive to KALAW. Time to explore
Kalaw, a charming hill station that is a marketing
center for hill-tribe folk from surrounding regions.
Ovenight in Kalaw.
DAY 08. KALAW-TAUNGGYI- KEKKU - INLE (BY CAR/ BOAT)
After breakfast, drive to Kekku to visit Kekku Pagoda.
Along the way, you can observe the ways of life of Then
proceed to TAUNGGYI. Upon arrival at Taunggyi, visit the
local market, the Shan State Museum, the
Sutaungpye
Pagoda. After visiting in Taunggyi, trip continue to
Inle. Overnight in Inle Lake.
DAY 09. INLE SIGHTSEEING-HEHO-YANGON (BY FLIGHT/ CAR/
BOAT)
Morning excursion by boat on INLE LAKE will include
seeing the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens
and local method of fishing and village life. Further
visits are made to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung
(Jumping cats) Monastery and other sights. In the
evening, transfer to Heho for flight back to Yangon.
Upon arrival at Yangon, transfer to hotel. Overnight in
Yangon.
DAY 10. YANGON DEPARTURE (BY CAR)
Today is the last day in Myanmar. After breakfast, you
should go shopping for your beloved ones or for yourself
at Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market where you can find Myanmar
famous gems and jewellary sales centers, Myanmar
traditional products such as antiques, wood and jade
carvings, cotton and silk fabrics, lacquerware,
paintings, silverware, tapestries, slippers, Longyis,
souvenir and so on. After lunch at leisure, evening
transfer to airport for departure flight.
