Brief itinerary:
Yangon-Golden Rock-Mawlamyine-Kyaikhto-Bago-Yangon

DAY 01. YANGON ARRIVAL (BY CAR)
Upon arrival Yangon International Airport, welcome by our tour guide and transfer to hotel. Aftrnoon sightseeing tour includes downtown area : the Old colonial style City Center Buildings, City Hall, Sule Pagoda and China Town. An extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world, will conclude the tours of this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and its cover with 60 tons of pure gold and famous for its religious significance, artistic beauty and its association with Myanmar culture. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 02. YANGON-KYAIKHTIYO (GOLDEN ROCK) (BY CAR)
After breakfast, overland to Kyaikhtiyo by car, located about 160 km from Yangon. There are many legends about the pagoda, it is known as the Golden Rock and famous as most popular pilgrimage centre in Myanmar. From the base camp (Kinpun Sakan), take 45 minutes car ride up to Rathedaung and then walk 45 minutes up to the Pagoda. The Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda is built on the big boulder which is resting on the edge of the huge steep rock. Enjoy the sunset time on the hill overlooking the panoramic view over Sittaung river valley, green forest and beautiful mountain ranges. Overnight on the hill.

 

DAY 03. KYAIKHTIYO - HPA-AN (BY CAR)
After breakfast, morning visit around the Kyaikhtiyo. And then departure from Kyaikhtiyo to Pha-An; the capital of Kayin State by car. On the way visit to Bayint Nyi Cave – it is also type of lime stone cave and cold and famous for natural hot and cold spring lake. Continue, passing the bridge across the Thanlwin River, to Hap-An. Upon arrival at Pha-An, visit to Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda and Saddan Cave – the number of Buddha Images, gilded on the wall of the lime stone cave. Overnight in Hpa-An.

 

 

DAY 04. HPA-AN - MAWLAMYINE SIGHTSEEING (BY CAR)
After breakfast, directly proceed to Mawlamyine. Arrive at Mawlamyine and transfer to hotel for check in. You will be take a rest for a while at the hotel and then Mawlamyine sightseeing will be starting with Mahamuni Pagoda, Kyaikthanlan Pagoda (Known as the Kipling Pagoda) and Seindone Mibaya Kyaung, where King Mindon’s wife sought refuge. These religious buildings are situated on a mountain range from where beautiful sunsets can be observed. If the time is permit, will be visit to the small town of Mudon (20 km- 1 hour). En-route, you can be see a newly built huge reclining Buddha and then continue visit to Kyaukdalone Pagoda and Hindu Temple facing each other. And then return back to Mawlamyine. Overnight in Mawlamyine.

 

DAY 05. MAWLAMYINE-THANBYUZAYAT (BY CAR)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Excursion Thanbyuzayat (34 km) and visit Kyaikkhami Pagoda; known as Mid-Water Pagoda. Then proceed to Thanbyuzayet to visit Allied War Memorial Cemetry for POW (prisoners of the war) who lost their lives in the famous Death Railway. After visit, drive back to Mawlamyine. Overnight in Mawlamyine.

 

DAY 06. MAWLAMYINE-YANGON (BY CAR)
Morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Yangon. Along the road, you can see many paddy fields, farm works and rual life of local people. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 07. YANGON DEPARTURE (BY CAR)
Breakfast at the hotel and leisure until the departure flight time. Then transfer to the Yangon International Airport for onward departure flight to conclude adventure trip.
