Brief itinerary: Yangon-Bagan-Mandalay-Heho-Inle-Yangon

DAY 01. YANGON ARRIVAL (BY CAR)
Upon arrival Yangon International Airport, welcome by
our tour guide and transfer to hotel. Aftrnoon
sightseeing tour includes downtown area : city centre
with the gilded Sule Pagoda, City Hall, the Old
colonial style City Center Buildings along the
strand road, China Town. An extended visit to
SHWEDAGON PAGODA, one of the wonders of the world,
will conclude the tours of this picturesque Garden City.
The golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters
above its base and its cover with 60 tons of pure gold
and famous for its religious significance, artistic
beauty and its association with Myanmar culture.
Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 02. YANGON-BAGAN SIGHTSEEING (BY FLIGHT/ CAR)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to
the airport for flight to BAGAN. Upon arrival in
Bagan, transfer to hotel and take a rest for a while.
Full day sightseeing is starting with the busy Local
Market (Nyaung U) and continuing with visit to a
diverse selection of the most important pagodas and
temples such as Shwezigone Pagoda, built by King
Anawrahta in the early 11th Century, the prototype of
later Myanmar Stupas; Kyansittha U-Min, a tunnel
with interesting paintings and Ananda Temple;
with its four huge standing – Buddha images and numerous
seated figures arrange around the interior gallery.
Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings
and Tharabar Gate, the only remaining gate of 9
Century A.D.
Lunch is followed by visit to a lacquer craftmen's
workshop in near by Myinkaba Village. sightseeing
continues with visits to Manuha Temple; built in
Mon style in 1059, Nanbaya Temple, a unique
sandstone monument that is such to have been the palace
of King Manuha, and Gu Byauk Gyi Temple; (under
the protection of UNESCO) , noted for its ancient mural
paintings. Finally, visit Shwesandaw Pagoda to
observe a sunset in the vicinity of Bagan's ancient
monuments. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 03. BAGAN-MANDALAY-AMARAPURA-MANDALAY (BY
FLIGHT/CAR)
After breakfast, transfer to Nyaung U Airport for
domestic flight to MANDALAY. Upon arrival in
Mandalay, drive to AMARAPURA, 15 km from
Mandalay. Visit Mahagandayone Monastery, a famous
Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live
and study Buddhist literature, and the 200-years-old
U Bein Teak Bridge, built in 1782 at the time when
Amarapura was the royal capital. Visit Bargaya
Monastery with its superb collection of Buddha
statues. Before returning to Mandalay, stop at a
traditional hand woven silk workshop. After lunch,
proceed on a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Mandalay.
Proceed sightseeing to Mahamuni Pagoda, with its
spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of
gold leaves, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung (or Golden Palace
Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden
buildings and Kuthodaw (known as the world's
largest book), consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved
with Buddhist scriptures. Finally, enjoy the sunset time
at Mandalay Hill by overlooking the panoramic
view from the hill. Dinner at local restaurant and
overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 04. MANDALAY-HEHO-INLE (BY FLIGHT/CAR/ BOAT)
Early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the
Mandalay Airport for the flight to HEHO. Upon
arrival Heho and transfer to Nyaung Shwe and
continue by boat to your hotel. After lunch, take a boat
excursion on Inle Lake to see the famous leg
rowers, wonderful floating gardens, floating farms,
floating villages, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, natives method
of fishing and village life, traditional weaving
industry, jumping cats monastery (Nga Phe Chaung
Monastery. If the time is permits, watch birds roots
in the bushes. Transfer to hotel and Overnight in Inle
Lake.
DAY 05. INLE-HEHO-YANGON DEPARTURE (BY FLIGHT/CAR/
BOAT)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. And then visit to
Local Market in the Inle lake region, where one can
see several hill tribes selling and buying fresh
vegetables and regional products. Then transfer to Heho
for flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon,
transfer to the International Airport for your departure
flight.
